A suggested process to follow is:
1. Selecting a course
Search our courses and choose the course that best matches your study plan and career goals. Ensure that you meet the entry requirements
2. Finding a Supervisor
All research applicants are required to submit a project proposal and also indicate the likely supervisor of their project. We encourage you to visit the Finding a Supervisor website to (a) make sure that your project fits with the Research Strengths of QUT and (b) identify and contact a future supervisor.
3. Submit your application
Complete our FR Form and attach the necessary evidence to apply to any QUT coursework course. Applications can be submitted either by email to International Admission qut.admission-e@qut.edu.au , by fax to +617 31383529 or by post QUT Student Business Services | Level 6, F Block, Kelvin Grove Campus.
4. QUT assesses your application
Once we receive your application, QUT’s International Admissionswill facilitate assessment by the Faculty and Research Students Centre to determine if QUT can support your candidature.
5. Receive your offer
If your application is successful, you will receive an offer letter and further advice on commencement of study at QUT.
6. Accept your offer
To accept your offer you must send your fee and overseas health cover payment to QUT along with your Acceptance of Offer form.
7. Apply for your student visa
International Admission will provide an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE). Please take this form with your visa application form and all relevant documents for your visa application to the embassy or emigration office.
8. Prepare to leave
To familiarise yourself with studying and living in Australia we offer comprehensive predeparture information online and predeparture briefings in some countries.
9. Arrive at QUT
Please visit the International Student Services website www.issupport.qut.edu.au for information on orientation activities and program which includes arranging airport reception, accommodation options, obtaining your QUT student ID card and course orientation program.
