What happens next?
Once you have lodged your application, you will be contacted next
- If further information is required to finalise processing of the application form.
- With information on the outcome of you application.
- With formal advice in writing on the progress of your application.
- For domestic students this will take about 6 weeks
- For international students this will take about 8 weeks
Normally this will detail the application outcome, unless you have applied early for the scholarship round. In the scholarship round emails will be sent from December onwards advising on the round.
Your application takes 6-8 week to allow time to:
- prepare a statement of equivalence for overseas qualifications by the Admissions staff.
- consider equivalence arguments, as required
- seek endorsement from the proposed Supervisor.
- seek endorsement from the Head of School / Director of Centre.
- seek recommendation from the Faculty Research Committee regarding acceptance into course.
- seek approval from the Research Degrees Committee .
