Is my scholarship affected if I revert to part time study to take up employment?

Consistent with the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) rules developed by the Federal Governement's Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) full time scholarship holders are given tax exempt awards. Their intention is to facilitate rapid course completion without interruption due to financial burdens. Therefore, if you revert to part time study you are no longer eligible to receive the full time award or to have the full time award suspended during the period of employment and reinstated when you return to full time study.

This may not always be the case and you can confirm any details with the Fees Officer in Student Business Services on 3138 3503 or email
