[Print-friendly version] To ease your introduction to QUT as a postgraduate research student the Research Students Centre (RSC) completes your initial enrolment and provides a range of orientation and induction services. Enrolment The Research Students Centre enrols students in their first year of study. Subsequent enrolments must be entered by students through QUT Virtual. Enrolment Procedure International Enrolment Form Academic Credit Course Summary Sheets FAQ Orientation Postgraduate Research Student Orientation is held regularly throughout the year for incoming Postgraduate Research Students. International Orientation The International Postgraduate Research Orientation has been specifically designed to assist International students.  They are held in February/ March and July/ August of each year. We also encourage international students to participate in programs run through language and learning services. Topics covered during Orientation and through language and learning services include: The research context at QUT Skills and training Language skills Support Settling into a new country Further information can be obtained from the International Office, International Support Services Inductions Online induction provides advice from your Faculty and the Research Students Centre (RSC), as well as a range of support service areas. Faculty inductions are organised to clarify expectations and processes.  Topics generally include: Ethics Health & Safety Equity Issues Copyright Intellectual Property Skills and Training Services and Support The University Life in Brisbane Supervisory arrangements Money Issues Faculty inductions vary in their style depending on the time of entry and the numbers and as such could be personalised.
