Rules

In 2009, the Australian Technology Network (ATN) of universities launched a fully online pathway of postgraduate courses to meet the career needs of researchers and professional research administrators. The courses are designed to enhance career and global networking opportunities. Under the Australian Government's Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS), scholarships are available to eligible research higher degree students wishing to study the Graduate Certicate in Research Commercialisation.

Each ATN university offers online units within all the courses. This allows you, during enrolment, to network with students from across Australia and the world.

The courses are all delivered online and are ideally suited to busy professionals seeking to develop their skills and knowledge in research commercialisation and management. The course covers areas including:

  • Research and global sustainability
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Managing research careers.

The aim is to focus on creating high level research and development skilled professionals. This course gives researchers and research managers extensive opportunities to explore research and development practices through review of current literature and sharing of international best practice.
