Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation - Admission |

There are currently five ways to be admitted to study units in the award. To be admitted to the award:Pathway 1 To apply for the Graduate Certificate and the *Commercialisation Training Scheme ScholarshipOnly QUT domestic higher degree research students are eligible to apply for the scholarship at QUT. Application is via the PRa form which should be returned to the Research Students Centre. * The DEST funded Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS) offers a limited number of scholarships, covering tuition fees and a living stipend, to assist current Doctoral or Research Masters students to complete the Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisation. Pathway 2 To apply for the Graduate Certificate as a fee paying student or non-QUT sponsored studentAny potential student may apply for admission. Please complete the Postgraduate Coursework Application (PG) Form which should be returned to Student Business Services. Students will be enrolled by QUT in all units through the ATN. Course fees are $2,200 per unit in 2008. Pathway 3 To apply for the Graduate Certificate as an overseas/international studentAny potential overseas/international student may apply for admission. Please complete the Postgraduate Coursework Application F Form which should be returned to Student Business Services. Students will be enrolled by QUT in all units through the ATN. Course fees are $3,300 per unit in 2008. As a fully online course students will be not eligible to apply for a student visa to study the course in Australia. This course is not CRICOS approved, students must study the course from their country of origin. To complete a unit offered in the award (for domestic students only):Pathway 4 To complete a unit in the Graduate Certificate as an elective requirement for another QUT postgraduate coursework course as a domestic studentPlease add the unit to your enrolment on QV against your course of enrolment. Please note that experience in managing research outcomes is preferred and assessment relates to such things as developing a business plan to commercialise a research outcome. Unit fees would be at the rate of your current QUT postgraduate course. (Note: Research students would normally not be encouraged to take electives from the Gradute Certificate and would require Research Degree Committee approval to enrol in units.) Pathway 5 To complete a unit in the Graduate Certificate at QUT while enrolled in the same course at another University as a domestic studentPlease complete the Postgraduate Coursework Application (PG) Form which should be returned to Student Business Services.
