The Australian Technology Network (ATN) of universities is launching a new course to meet the career needs of postgraduate researchers studying under the Australian Government's Commercialisation Training Scheme and of many other research professionals, including Early Career Researchers.

Each ATN university is offering one of the five units available in the course. This allows you, during enrolment, to network with students from across Australia.

The course uses online opportunities to provide skills and knowledge in research commercialisation and in the associated areas of research project management, entrepreneurship, leadership and workplace communication and the public policy/research interface.

It has been developed in response to a Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) initiative - the Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS). The aim is to focus on the development of commercialisation skills. This course gives researchers and research managers a sound grounding in many aspects of the commercialisation of research.

Students are encouraged to review the CTS guidelines and Course details to learn more about the course. Find out more about e-Grad School.
