As a continuing student you must re-enrol each year via QUT Virtual.  Failure to do so will result in your candidature becoming inactive and can result in your being discontinued from your program. As an inactive student you will not be eligible to access resources and services that you will require during candidature.

Request for Leave/ Sick Leave

Leave should be requested on a Leave of Absence (LOA) form and guidelines if it will impact on your progress and ability to meet milestones. International students are warned to consider visa requirements in making applications for leave.

Leave Conditions

In cases where leave of absence is granted after the published withdrawal date for the relevant teaching period, failing grades may be assigned unless the student demonstrates exceptional circumstances for the proposed period of leave (consistent with MoPP Regulation Policy E/4.5 Leave of absence regulation 4.5.3).

Where leave is granted the student is required to advise when they will be reenrolling to complete the unit.

CTS Scholarship Holders:

The CTS tuition and living allowance scholarship will cover the cost of one attempt at four units. Any units failed must be repeated at the students expense. Failure to complete four units successfully within 24 months may lead to termination of the scholarship and the requirement to reimburse any scholarship monies paid.
