Development Office

In general
  • supports the administration of undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships primarily where there are limited expectations of establishing ongoing research collaborations with community, business, industry and government.  Arrangements support QUT faculties, divisions and institutes in the areas of engagement and partnerships, alumni and fund-raising.
  • Your contact person is the Development Officer (Scholarships & Foundations).
More specifically

Development Officer (Scholarships & Foundations)

  1. Provide advice re: agreement and necessary information for schedule to be gathered from industry.
  2. Prepare in consultation with faculty (and client) the schedule
  3. Liaison with OCS Contracts Review Officer if the QUT standard scholarship agreement has to be negotiated.

Data Entry Required by DO

  1. Create record in Raiser’s Edge
  2. Organise signing of IP & Scholarships Agreement where appropriate.
  3. Notify Research Students Centre when contract is signed and update on Raiser’s Edge.
  4. Oversee forwarding of copies of Agreement to Central Registry and to Student and Research Students Centre.

Division of International and Development Finance Officer

  1.  Open and manage account for scholarships administered by Development Office and facilitate reporting as required.
